Refund & Cancellation Policy

How service cancellations and refund requests are handled for individually scoped work.

WEBSITE POLICYPrepared for pre-launchUpdated October 25, 2026
Before paying for a service

Defendoria’s website is currently an enquiry and quotation site, not an automatic online checkout. No universal refund window, non-refundable deposit, monthly term or cancellation fee is being claimed here. The applicable terms should be agreed in writing before any payment.

Free enquiries and consultations

Sending an enquiry does not create an invoice or paid order. You can choose not to proceed after an initial discussion without a service fee unless you have separately accepted a paid engagement.

One-time assessments and recovery work

For a security audit or incident recovery project, the approved proposal should explain its price, scope, start date, deliverables, and how cancellation is treated before or after work begins. If a project is canceled, any refund or adjustment is assessed using that written agreement, completed work, costs actually incurred, and applicable consumer or contract law.

Ongoing website security services

If an ongoing service is offered, its subscription or retainer agreement should say whether it renews, when notice must be given, and how already-started billing periods are treated. This page does not itself enroll visitors in an automatic renewal.

Requesting a refund or cancellation

Use the contact form, identify the project or invoice, describe your request, and provide a way to respond. Please do not send payment-card numbers, account passwords or other secret information. Requests will be reviewed against the agreed scope and the law that applies.

Disputes, failed delivery and statutory rights

If you believe work was not delivered as agreed, describe the issue and the remedy you are requesting so it can be reviewed. Nothing on this page removes cancellation, refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. A signed agreement must not claim greater restrictions than applicable law permits.

What requires confirmation

Payment processor, currencies, refund processing method, cancellation notice period and any fixed refund eligibility rule have not yet been approved for this business. Those details should be added once the commercial process is finalized.
